How We Started
One Pet At A Time
RecoveryPets was born out of a simple observation: specialized species like reptiles, rabbits, and small mammals need specialized advocates. We realized that standard rescues aren't always equipped for the unique dietary and environmental needs of these animals.
We started small—one foster at a time—and grew into a community-driven network. Today, we don't just rescue pets; we provide the Care Sheets and Starter Packs needed to ensure they thrive in their new forever homes.
